More DW Specials News from DWM 407

The latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, released today, has revealed that we’ll be treated to a short trail for the second of this year’s specials at the end of Planet of the Dead.

The title of the episode, written by Russell T Davies and Phil Ford, will also be announced just before the closing credits of the Easter special.

Special #2 sees the Doctor (David Tennant) plunged into a world of danger. The episode will guest star Lindsay Duncan as the Doctor’s companion, Adelaide, who has been described as being the Doctor’s most “strong-minded and smartest companion” yet.

The episode has been brought forward from its original Christmas air date, and will now transmit on BBC One and BBC HD this Autumn, meaning we have a shorter wait for more Who after Planet of the Dead! Hurrah!
