Dr Who frontman David Tennant seemed to have serious issues on his mind as he left the Bafta celebrations last night with girlfriend Georgina Moffat.
The Time Lord traveller had two project nominations for Best Drama Series – Dr Who and Einstein And Eddington, but lost out on both counts.
Tennant left the awards ceremony with his blonde girlfriend Georgina Moffat – who played his daughter in the Dr Who series - and he was in the sort of mood that worries Daleks.
The actor, clad in a black tuxedo and what looked like a T-shirt featuring a diamante-studded Storm Trooper, seemed slightly riled, gesticulating as he spoke.
He had earlier presented the TV Executive and former controller of BBC Fiction Jane Tranter with ‘The Special Award’ for her outstanding creative contribution to the industry.

Personally I think its Bottom Line Time, and the bottom line is this - Its the end of April and David Tennant has been on out screens as the Doctor for just one hour, what does he expect? He is the nations favorite as the Doctor, and I do agree he plays the part very well and has made it all his own! But other than Doctor Who I'm not a David Tennant fan, I have no interest in Hamlet, Einstein And Eddington, Blackpool or Cassanova. When he leaves Doctor Who I too will hope he comes back for the occasional appearance, but thats it!

I really doubt DT cares he didn't win. "Zomg actor papped not smiling" is a non-story; he looked perfectly happy throughout and who can blame him not smiling when being chased by paparazzo trying to snap him with his girlfriend in a private moment. He didn't walk the red carpet for a reason. I bet he's overjoyed at leaving the constant press intrusion and stalker fans following him everywhere and being a regular actor and I'm sure he won't struggle to find work.
