To celebrate the announcement of Karen Gillan as the Series 5 companion, LastBroadcast.co.uk recently conducted a poll to find out which companions their visitors would most like to make a return to the TARDIS.
Sally Sparrow, played by Carey Mulligan, who appeared in the Series 3 episode, Blink, finished in first place, and Donna’s beloved grandad, Wilf Mott, played by the legend that is Bernard Cribbins, came in at second.
Other characters who finished in the top 15 were Elton Pope (#13), Tish Jones (#12), Lady Christina (#6), and River Song (#4).
