Morrisey is not the Next Doctor

This from The News Of The World...

Here are the first pics of the Cybermen who try to wipe out Doctor Whoon Christmas Day.

The baddies and their mutant cousins the Cybershades - who are led byCyberKing - creep up on a vicar (Jason Morell) during a funeral in Victorian London.

Star David Tennant must team up with another Doctor, played by David Morrissey, to have any chance of defeating them.

But we can reveal Morrissey, 43 - who is bookies’ favorite to become the next Who when Tennant leaves - will not be the new Doctor.

Instead, Gavin and Stacey star , 30, is being lined up as a possibility, along with Mighty Boosh actor Noel Fielding, 35, and Trainspotting’sRobert Carlyle, 47.

Actors James Nesbitt and Rhys Ifans are outsiders for the role.

Last night a BBC source said A decision is imminent. But David Morrissey is definitely out. When you see the Christmas special it’s clear he is not in the running to come back permanently as the Doctor.

I'd like to say a few words about this story; They are not first pictures of the Cybermen, they are weeks too late!

Doctor Who is the name of the show, not the character, who is calledThe Doctor.

Mathew Horne and Noel Fielding, I'll tell you when I've stopped laughing!

James Nesbitt went public saying no to the part over a month ago!

Robert Carlyle? Can the BBC afford a movie star in a full time TV series?

And I still say David Morrissey may be a next Doctor, but not necessarily number eleven!
