Although there have been tabloid rumours, the first writer for Doctor Who season 5 has been confirmed. Gareth Roberts is to write one episode of series 5.
Mark Gatiss and Neil Gamian are rumoured by the Sun to write for season 5, but nothing is official yet. Matt Smith has said in an interview that Steven Moffatt has penned one or two episodes also!
