The Doctor Who cast and crew have now landed back in the United Kingdom, after completing all of the necassary shots in Dubai. But there was no time to recover from jet leg, because they were back on location come Monday morning - this time at a very familiar spot…
The production team were spotted at Taffs Well Quarry, previously seen in Series 3’s Utopia and Last of the Time Lords.
The TARDIS was also on set, beautifully lit up like a Christmas tree, and a man wearing a spacesuit (believed to be the Doctor in his famous Impossible Planet/Satan Pit gear) was captured filming a sequence in front of a green screen…
It’s believed that the scenes are for this year’s second special, which the BBC recently confirmed will star acclaimed actress Lindsay Duncan as Adelaide, the Doctor’s ‘most strong-minded companion yet’.
